Comments
Golden Search and Rescue received a call for a sz 3 avalanche with a snowmobile nearby and no rider visible. Avalanche looks like 2 connected avalanches. The upper slide was 380m wide and 400m long, the crown was 40-80cm deep, the toe of this avalanche reached just past a bench where it initiated another slab, which was 150m wide and the same crown depth this ran a further 400m down the drainage. Debris was searched and no people were found to be involved.
